I am 100% off to get a commonplace book!!! I literally have 1000’s of thoughts, quotes & things I love stored in my phone all begging to be written out & recorded in some kind of order. What a fab idea 🧡
Love this! What a great way to start a new year, especially when the weather likes to play games 😊. Sinking into the chair, clenching a freshly made cup of coffee while reading with anticipation what the next thing on the list will be 🥰
What a lovely, refreshing reminder to love ourselves on a day when our feeds are overwhelmed by goals and how to be "better". Love the idea of a Commonplace book! Thank you for the beautiful post!
Love this list!, 100% agree there’s no need to rush into January.
I actually love the tales about how January 1st became the start of the year and how that’s based on strategic war decisions, not nature. I wrote about it in more detail again this year as it was one of my most read posts last year.
I’m definitely up for carbs today- sprout and cream cheese pasta is on the menu for dinner. I began my commonplace book yesterday, I’ve taken my vit D this morning and I’ll go out for a walk later. So far, so good!
Thank you, such a lovely gentle list. And, I've learnt the baker for something I do! I recently restarted writing in the book of quotations I collected as a teenager! Didn't know it actually had a name.
Love love love as always, Aimée! I really feel the need for healing in January, so your suggestion of writing a letter to the one who broke our hearts hit right where I am just now. As did selecting a guiding word for the year: I love doing that! Thank you for sharing these ‘could-do’ lists each month 🥰

I've never done it before either but going to give it a go this year!

Love the idea of a Could-do list.

15. Write a letter to yourself to read at the end of the year. I've just completed this and I’ll look forward to reading this on 1st January 2026 🙀
Your "could do" lists are always so magical!! 🥰
Lots of lovely suggestions here 🌿✨
You'd be better to save whiskey for Paddy's Day.. Burn's Night is for whisky ;). As an irishwoman who lives in the Highlands, IT MATTERS!!!
